Museum Portal

I helped assist year 10 students from Treviglas School, Newquay, Cornwall build a Museum Portal for Perranzabuloe Museum. The portal was made from a Ben Skinner surf board and I helped the students create interactive games using HTML 5 animation and video.

The portal was originally made as an updatable website but because of poor internet at the museum I created it as an ebook. People with ipads can search the ibook store and download it for themselves.

Hoax

I worked for 3 days with 3 students from year 9 Plymouth School of Creative Art. It was pupil lead and I helped facilitate and advise their vision. We also arranged stop frame animation workshops for classes from all age groups across the to respond to their art installation.

A huge window was blocked out and a imagined future was mapped and projected on to it. Watch here.

kaleidoscope

This giant kaleidoscope(made out of bins) used discarded plastic bottles as its colour, visual component. Viewers could turn the wheel and watch the pretty patterns it created.

The piece represented mother earth and the wheel represented humanity being in control of it’s destiny.
